Person who does not show interest in buying your product or service at all. When a sales rep contacts with a customer, and the customer has never heard of the company or the product then it is a cold lead. Just because a lead is cold, doesn’t mean that they can’t be nurtured into becoming a hot lead. You just need to be sure that they are in your target market and have the same qualities as your previous customers. These types of leads are usually given a mediocre score, as they are cold but still have plenty of potential. When the customer heard of your product or recollects something about your company it’s a warm lead. These types of leads are much easier to convert.
